Hi everyone! Nelson Community Services is hosting a fundraiser on Saturday October 4 on the rail trail, starting at the Svoboda parking lot. The fundraiser is in support of the Aimee Beaulieu Transition House (ABTH). ABTH provides emergency safe shelter and support for women and children leaving domestic violence and abuse. This is a family-friendly event with the option to walk 2.5km/5km or ride 10km/20km. If you’re free October 4 - please come out and support ABTH! We are also looking for volunteers.
