🚴♂️ My Ride for Refuge Journey
For over five years, I’ve had the privilege of riding in Ride for Refuge—an annual event that brings people together to support refugees, displaced people, and other vulnerable communities. Every year, I hop on my bike because I believe no one should face the journey of rebuilding their life alone.
Why I Ride
Refugee claimants arriving in Canada often carry the weight of loss, trauma, and uncertainty. They leave everything behind in search of safety, but the road ahead is filled with challenges—finding shelter, navigating the refugee claim process, and building a new life in a new country.
Ride for Refuge raises funds so organizations can walk alongside refugee claimants, offering them hope, stability, and dignity. By riding, I get to be part of that story—and by donating, you can too.
My Commitment
This is my 6th year riding (and counting!).
Every year, I set out to not only meet but exceed my fundraising goal.
I ride because I want refugee claimants to know they are seen, supported, and welcomed.
