Raising money towards Compass Refugee Centre (in Kitchener). Besides that I like maps and their name and logo include a compass, they help ressettle new refugee claimants. Everyone can use some help navigating the bureaucracy, and having been a new arrival in Canada myself once upon a time, a friendly and supportive group of people willing to walk alongside and provide the space, time and energy to figure things out is well worth my support in being a better neighbour. 

As in past years, I will be joining others in riding around 20km in not only solidarity for the cause, but to also raise awareness and whatever funds I can for it. Why 20km? because under is comfortable, and pushing past my comfort zone allows for the opportunity for growth.
