I’m deeply grateful to be walking with our partners at York Regional Police and the incredible staff at Blue Door. I see firsthand how YRP shows up for people in our community during their most vulnerable moments, and how Blue Door staff continue that care with compassion, consistency, and hope long after the crisis has passed.

This walk matters to me because it creates space to listen, to learn, and to stand in solidarity with people who have experienced homelessness, and with the frontline workers who support them every day. When systems work together, real change is possible.
