It's cold out there. And this February, I'm going to do something about it. Together with thousands of Canadians across the country, I'll be walking in support of the Shuswap Food Action Society! The focus is to make our beautiful Shuswap region food secure! The SFAS provides our local community food bank with fresh produce weekly, they operate the downtown Farmers Market and go above and beyond to support local family farms, they offer school lunch programs throughout the district and there is so much more that they want to do to better the lives of all of us Shuswapians!
