As you may know I have volunteered the last two year's during our church's WATTS week, where we provide shelter and food for Winchester's homeless population.  WATTS stands for Winchester Area Temporary Transitional Shelter.  It was started in 2009 after a man froze to death in Winchester.  Since then, over 21 area churches have hosted the homeless for a week each winter.  While the churches provide for the shelter and meals during the week.  There are many other expenses that still need to be covered.  Together with other people in Winchester and across the country, I'll be walking and fundraising to support people and families experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness in my community.
