The Fort York Food Bank is located in the College and Spadina area. It's a small space that has an enormous impact in downtown Toronto. It's the busiest food bank in Toronto and one of the busiest in Canada. Whenever I'm in that neighbourhood, I'm saddened by the shockingly long lineup to access its services but am simultaneously thankful that this vital organization exists.

In 2025, the Fort York Food Bank has served 6500 people every week. That's a 24% increase from 2024, and the need for the food and services it provides is ever growing.
