Hi everyone,
It’s already been a brutally cold winter — snowstorms, icy sidewalks, and that “why do I live here again” kind of wind. Now imagine braving all of that without shelter, consistent food, or warmth. That’s the reality for too many people in our community.
Which is why I’m bundling up (picture: human marshmallow), lacing my boots, and joining the Coldest Night of the Year walk. I’ll be out there waddling through the cold like a determined penguin with a mission — raising funds to support people facing homelessness, hunger, and hardship.
Organizations like S.H.I.F.T. provide warm meals, safe shelter, and compassionate support when people need it most. Every donation — big, small, or somewhere in between — helps make the cold a little less harsh for our neighbours.
If you’re able to support my chilly adventure, you can donate here: https://cnoy.w-ith.me/KarenMajury
As Olaf reminds us, snowmen like warm hugs — and your help is one.
Thank you for cheering me on, for supporting this cause, and for giving me a good reason to wear an unreasonable number of layers.
With Warmth and Love,
Karen
