It's cold out there. And this February, I'm going to do something about it. Together with thousands of Canadians across the country, I'll be walking and fundraising to support people and families experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness in my community. Please, give generously by clicking the "Donate Now" button above. Thanks!
This cause feels especially meaningful to me. Through my work in mental health and community care, I see how much stability, warmth, and connection matter. How even small supports can make a real difference for people who are struggling.
One quote that really captures why I’m doing this comes from Mother Teresa:
“Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”
That’s what this walk represents for me. A small, tangible act of care that contributes to something much bigger.
If you’re able, I would be incredibly grateful if you’d consider donating or sponsoring my walk. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps fund essential services and sends a message that people in our community are not forgotten.
If donating isn’t possible right now, even sharing this or sending a word of encouragement means a lot.
Thank you for always being such a supportive part of my life. I’ll be walking with you in mind and with a lot of gratitude.
If you have any questions, please ask - I'm excited to be doing this and appreciate your support.
With love,
Riley
P.S. Hey, if you'd like to join me, I'd love that too - the more the merrier.
