On February 28th I’ll be walking in my 12th Coldest Night of the Year event! My how the time flies! Each year I participate to help raise funds for organizations that are making a huge impact on our city – Jericho Road Ministries and Capital City Mission. In my role as the Continuing Care Co-ordinator at Jericho Road, I have the privilege of daily walking alongside men as they move “from addiction to connection.” Over the past few years, we have seen men who used to be regulars at the Capital City Mission Drop-In come through our treatment program and return to CCM to volunteer making sandwiches and handing out coffee for others. It’s a gift to see the full-circle miracle of recovery!
