Once again, I am walking in memory of my son, Luke, to raise money for AWAC. I just re-watched the video done by AWAC showing testimonials from people who have succeeded in their program at Olive’s Branch.
This video brought me to tears as these people talked with gratitude about how Olive’s Branch has changed their lives. They have been able to have a place to live, go to school, get jobs, and re-connect with their families. They were grateful for “the chance to have a future.”
At the time of his death, Luke did not have a safe place to live and did not have any help from any mental health personnel. He did not have the chance to have a future.
I am walking in Coldest Night because AWAC saves lives. If you feel called to help by making a donation or by joining our team and walking, that would be wonderful. Thanks so much!
