Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out to invite you to support something that means a lot to me.
I’m participating in the Coldest Night of the Year in support of Barrie’s Youth Haven — the only youth shelter in Simcoe County.
Youth Haven provides safe shelter, food, counseling, life skills support, mental health resources, and street outreach to vulnerable youth in our community. For many young people facing homelessness, family breakdown, abuse, or crisis, Youth Haven is the place they turn when they have nowhere else to go.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of this community over the past four years, we’ve officially opened an amazing new shelter. This new space allows Youth Haven to provide true wraparound services — not just a bed for the night, but comprehensive support that helps youth rebuild their lives. It also strengthens their street outreach efforts, connecting with vulnerable youth before situations become even more critical.
But the need continues to grow.
If you’re in a position to donate — even a small amount — it truly makes a difference. Every contribution helps provide safety, warmth, food, and support to youth who deserve stability and hope.

Thank you for considering supporting this important cause. I’m so proud of what Youth Haven is doing for our community, and I’m grateful for any support you can give.
With appreciation,
Chantal
