This has been a particularly cold and challenging winter in Antigonish. Together with my best friends and thousands of people across the country, I will walk on the coldest night of the year (CNOY) later this month to support individuals and families experiencing hardship, food insecurity, and precarious housing. I am fundraising for the Naomi Society, a local organization that supports women and children in my community through trauma-informed, practical support and advocacy.
