My Message

Many of you know I have called “The County” my home away from home for almost 10 years now.

In beautiful Prince Edward County, behind the vineyards and scenic views, a hidden crisis affects far too many of our neighbours: 1 in 4 residents struggles with food insecurity. This rate sadly outpaces provincial trends in Ontario, where hunger is rising but hits our community especially hard. And is kinda ironic given Conde Nast has declared the region as a top culinary destination globally in 2026.

The Coldest Night of the Year is a family-friendly winter walk that raises vital funds for local charities supporting those facing hunger, hurt, and homelessness. By walking together on a chilly February night, we experience a glimpse of what it’s like to be out in the cold – and show solidarity with those who need our help most.

My team & I are raising awareness and funds in support of The Picton Food Bank. And I hope I can count on your support.

Just like in business and day to day life, if we collaborate – as walkers, donors, sponsors, and volunteers, we can solve these problems. Your support provides meals, resources, and hope right here in our community, making a real difference one step at a time.
