This February, I’m participating in the Coldest Night of the Year, a winter walk fundraiser that supports the hungry, homeless, and hurting in the DTES Vancouver community. I’m walking to support First United Church Community Ministry that provides services and programs, as well as shelter, for those less fortunate. I've had the honour of being Board chair during First's ReDevelopment of a purpose-built facility. I will be glad to be volunteering again in the foot care program that also serves as a listening ministry. First also advocates for system’s change – recently influencing changes in BC’s Tenancy Act.

I'm walking for maybe an hour or two at most - a little walk, really - but it's a big deal for the people we're supporting. Would you support my walk with a personal donation?
