This year, I’m walking in the Coldest Night of the Year to support S.T.A.R. Haven, the local nonprofit hosting the event here in Suffolk.

My involvement isn’t about the event itself—it’s about the work S.T.A.R. Haven does day in and day out for individuals in our community who are facing housing insecurity, food scarcity, and instability. I’ve seen how quickly circumstances can change, and how important it is for people to have access to support, dignity, and safe spaces during difficult seasons.

Walking is my way of showing up and helping raise awareness and resources so this work can continue locally. If you’re able to walk with us, I’d welcome your company. If not, a donation of any amount is truly appreciated and directly supports S.T.A.R. Haven’s efforts here in Suffolk.
