I have been supported by friends and family ever since I walked my first Coldest Night of the Year in Calgary in 2020.  It's become "the thing" we do every winter.  Actually the coldest night I ever walked was my first time in Oceanside  in 2023 in the slashing rain and whipping wind on the shores of the Salish Sea in Parksville. BC.  These events have sensitized me to what it must be like to be homeless and hungry on those dark, cold winter nights.  So I bundle up and walk with my sisters in the Catholic Women's League on the Ascension Parish Family Team and try to receive as many donations as I can.  All the money stays in  Oceanside to support the Island Crisis Care Society. This charity provides community-based programs that make a significant difference in the lives of folks who really need our help in their journey to independence. Please support me again in 2026
