Dear Friends & Family,
Let's work together and make a difference in our community!
As I write this message, I'm sitting bundled up under a warm blanket on my cozy couch. I don't take for granted that there are many people in our Fredericksburg community who don't have that luxury. I walk our streets on a near daily basis and see our unhoused neighbors. This time of year I get daily emails letting me know if the cold weather shelter will be open or not on any given day. Now through February I'm going to be working to raise awareness and money through The Coldest Night of the Year campaign. I would be honored if you would join me with your support.
On February 28, 2026, I’ll be walking in the Coldest Night of the Year event to support Micah Ecumenical Ministries. Micah is one of the main agencies working to support our unsheltered neighbors here in Fredericksburg. I have seen firsthand the powerful work that Micah does. They offer a helping hand to those in need - offering meals, dignity, respect and hope.
Many of you have supported me in the past and I'm asking once again for your support now. Would you consider supporting my campaign this year with a donation?
You can give online here: cnoy.w-ith.me/NichNotBecky
Prefer not to donate online? Just reach out to me directly and we can figure it out!
My team, FUMC Preschool / Kindergarten, is filling up with parents and teachers who are eager to walk for this important cause. We would be thrilled to have you join us! Whether you walk, donate, or simply share this message, your support makes a difference.
It’s cold out there. But together, we can bring warmth and hope. Thank you for helping make a real difference.
