It's cold out there. And this February, I'm going to do something about it. Together with other people across the country, I'll be walking and fundraising to support people and families experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness in my community. Many of you know that I volunteer once or twice a month with Laundry Love, a ministry that provides money for folks on the margins to do their laundry. While standing alongside them at the laundromat, I have heard many stories about how these neighbors have come to hard times.  I no longer think of them as "those people."  They are my neighbors who need a helping hand.
