It’s cold out there. And this February, I am going to do something about it as the event co-chairperson of Coldest Night of the Year, Stevens Point. Together with other people across the country and Canada, I will be walking and fundraising to support people and families experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness in my community.
One Big Tent has been supporting my community for 5 years. In 2025, One Big Tent provided services on approximately 1,366 occasions to our Portage County Neighbors.
Totals provided for 2025- $52,923.74
Housing Assistance- $26,300
Grocery Cards- $5,460
Gas Cards- $7,965
Vehicle Repairs- $1,308.92
Thrift Store Cards- $3,180
Bus passes (approximate amount)- $2,273.30
Miscellaneous- $6,436.52

As Vice President of the Board of One Big Tent, I have heard people’s stories and seen the need in our community. There is more work to be done and more LOVE to be shared.
