Hello Friend
More and more people are now experiencing homelessness, addiction, and mental health challenges - in short, a loss of hope. It has been an incredibly cold winter this year, so all the more reason that Bill and MJ feel inspired to again walk in this year's Coldest Night of the Year in support of Ray of Hope here in Kitchener.
For those of you who don't know, Ray of Hope is an organization which serves people experiencing poverty, homelessness, and other challenges in Kitchener-Waterloo. They provide life-changing programing and services in a welcoming, compassionate community. And they empower people to chart a new path in life. For example, the community centre in downtown Kitchener offers nourishing food (hot meals and food hampers), showers, laundry facilities, clothing, hygience items, chaplaincy, nursing care, outreach support and more. There are also Youth Support Services, Youth Justice Services and Employment Services available in Kitchener, all run by the Ray of Hope. Check out their website at rayofhope.net
We will be walking on Saturday, February 28, 2026 and would greatly appreciate your support in the form of a donation to this very worthy cause. Thank you in advance for your caring and kindness.
