It’s cold out there and in Cobourg, that cold hits harder when you know there are people sleeping in doorways, cars, and makeshift shelters just a few blocks from where we live, shop, work, and gather. For too many in our community, winter isn’t cozy it’s frightening.
This February, I’m walking in The Coldest Night of the Year to stand with our neighbours who are facing hurt, hunger, and homelessness right here in Northumberland County. These are people we pass every day. They are part of our town. And they deserve safety, dignity, and hope.
I’m walking to raise funds for the local programs that keep people warm, fed, and supported when everything else feels out of reach. A warm meal, a safe bed, a caring human these things save lives.
If you’re able, please click Donate Now and give whatever you can. Every dollar helps turn a cold Cobourg night into something warmer, kinder, and more humane. 💙
