It’s that time of year again! It is cold out there, we have people in our community who are hungry and Christopher wants to help by participating in the Coldest Night of the Year walk fundraiser for the Orangeville Food Bank.
Our winters are predictably unpredictable. Some days are sub zero bone chilling cold, others are just plain hard to get around tricky with freezing rain and icy roads, and on other days the wind can be biting or blinding with snow. It sure is important to face each of these days by fuelling up with nutritious food. Too many people in Dufferin County can’t count on that. Food insecurity can affect anyone. The Orangeville Food Bank’s Mission is to provide access to nutritious food for individuals and families in our community.
Christopher volunteers at the Food Bank every Monday with Ellen and hopes that his participation in this year’s walk will help as well in contributing to all the good work that the Food Bank does.
In previous years you were all very generous in helping him to raise money for an organization that helps so many people through difficult times. Christopher would be honoured if you could help him raise funds again. If you can, please help Christopher help the Orangeville Food Bank by donating here.
