It’s cold out there. And this February, I’m going to do something about it.
This year, I’m proud to be walking in the Coldest Night of the Year, alongside thousands of Canadians across the country, to raise funds and awareness for people and families experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness in our communities.
For many individuals, winter isn’t just uncomfortable—it’s dangerous. Living without stable housing often means facing freezing temperatures, food insecurity, isolation, and constant uncertainty. Simple things most of us take for granted—warmth, safety, dignity—can feel out of reach. These challenges don’t disappear when the weather improves, but the cold makes them even harder to survive.
Events like Coldest Night of the Year matter because they shine a light on realities that are too often unseen. Raising awareness is just as important as raising funds. It starts conversations, builds empathy, and reminds us that homelessness is a community issue—and one we can all help address.
Change doesn’t always start with something big. Sometimes, it starts with a walk. A donation. A shared message. A small difference that adds up when we come together.
If you’re able, please consider supporting this important cause by clicking the “Donate Now” button above. Every contribution helps bring warmth, hope, and support to those who need it most.
Thank you for standing with me—and with our community—on the coldest night of the year 💙
