🥶 It’s cold out there and Yeti knows it. 🐾 

Even with her fluffy coat, our dog Yeti is bundled up and cozy when the temperatures drop. But many people in our own community don’t have the same comfort, warmth, or security. That’s why Jeffrey and I are walking and fundraising this February to support StreetLight Community Outreach Ministries.

We’ve been honored to volunteer with Streetlight, serving at their Wednesday banquets and spending time with neighbors who are experiencing homelessness or food insecurity. Those evenings have been a powerful reminder of how much warmth and compassion matter (especially in the winter months).

We are incredibly grateful to have a roof over our heads, heat to keep us warm, and clothes that protect us from the cold. Not everyone is that lucky here in Prince William County or across the country. 

Streetlight works every day to meet urgent needs through care, meals, case management, and supportive services. They offer hope for brighter futures.
