Street Health is an organization I believe in, and they need our support.
Established in 1986, Street Health is a non-profit, community-based leader in improving the health and well-being of people who are homeless or under-housed or underserved through low-barrier and equitable care, advocacy and education. They operate one of only five overdose prevention sites in Toronto, only possible because of donor dollars.
On what will enivitably be a cold night on February 28, I will leave my warm and safe home to walk - in solidarity with the 15,000 people experiencing homelessness in Toronto, many of whom do not have the choice but to walk, on too many of the coldest nights of the year - and to raise money for Street Health.
Please support me to support the life-saving, eseential work of Street Health.
Gifts of $20 or more will be emailed a charitable tax receipt. And my biggest donor will be rewarded with a Coldest Night of the Year toque!
Thank you so much for your support xo
