Let me tell you about Mike.
Mike is one of the fellas that stands in the median near Ollie's.
I almost always have a couple of bucks to pass him through my window after I've picked Isla up from school, but more than that, we chat.
Mike has a job at a local restaurant and last time we spoke he had an interview at another restaurant that he thinks went really well! So soon, Mike will have 2 jobs and still can't afford housing.
He's genuinely a good person and a hard working one.
This year, I'm walking for The Coldest Night of the Year. I know I'm always on here asking y'all for stuff. 😂😂 But today, I'm asking you to give a little for people like Mike.
