At Barrie Food Bank, we see every day how closely food insecurity and homelessness are linked, especially for young people. No one can focus on school, work, or their future when they’re worried about where they’ll sleep or when they’ll eat next.
This February 28, our team is walking in support of Youth Haven on the Coldest Night of the Year to stand with youth experiencing homelessness in our community. Together, we’re raising our voices - and funds - to remind decision-makers that hunger and homelessness are not personal failures, but systemic issues that require collective action.
If you’re able, please support our team and help create a community where every young person has food, shelter, and a real chance to thrive.
