It's cold and snowy out there!  I've seen how people who are homeless are struggling to survive this winter. And I've seen how places like the Lighthouse Shelter are sometimes overwhelmed with the need. On February 28 I'm going to walk again in The Coldest Night of the Year walk to raise funds for our local shelter. The Lighthouse not only works with people who have no permanent home but it also has a very full list of other things it does like bring meals to people who have no way to cook or reaching out to young people and working with other organizations to find housing for them and help them to learn life skills that they need.
