Saturday, February 28th, Rick and I will be walking to raise money for Ray of Hope on their annual Coldest Night of the Year Walk.
Ray of Hope, located in downtown Kitchener, serves people in our community experiencing poverty, homelessness and other challenges. With compassion, they provide life-changing programing and services. Their mission is to invest in people, inspire hope and transform lives. Don’t we all need hope?
Every year Rick and I debate whether we will walk and each year we realize we must because the needs of people in our community continue to grow. This year Rick and I continue to grieve for our son, Adam who died in 2024 and we walk in memory of him also.
It often isn’t the coldest night that we walk and honestly it is not the longest walk… but we believe that supporting Ray of Hope’s vision and mission, demonstrates the love of Christ.
It seems to be an overwhelming challenge with so many people struggling in our community. However, participating in the walk or sponsoring someone who is walking can be a way to help make a difference.
We would be deeply grateful for your support, which you can provide by clicking on this link:
