It's cold out there! On February 28th, together with participants in many communities across the country, I'll be walking a 5K to raise funds for people and families in need. My fundraiser is for Open Doors, a low-barrier shelter in Harrisonburg, VA that helps people avoid spending a night on the street. Open Doors is a wonderful organization that is funded almost entirely by the local community. Coldest Night Of The Year is an established, annual fundraising event with a strong track record of supporting local organizations.
