It's cold out there. And this February, we are once again going to do something about it. Together with thousands of Canadians across the country, we will be walking and fundraising to support people and families experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness in my community. Please, give generously by clicking the "Donate Now" button above. Thanks!
Last yearwe raised $1500 towards our team's total of $6875. Our team was 3rd in the Exeter group and we was the 3rd top individual fundraiser thanks to your support. Please consider helping out again.
United Way Perth-Huron’s Southern Huron and Area Community Committee invites you to walk with them to end chronic homelessness.
Funds are used in support of the Southern Huron Connection Centre in Exeter; that offers basic needs such as light meals, a shower, washroom facilities and laundry along with support through partnerships with numerous agencies.
Funds are also used in support of the Huron Homelessness Initiative in Exeter; including shelter for women, children and youth, stability and service connection work, and transitional housing.
Homelessness isn’t just about sleeping on the streets. A person may be in a temporary shelter, incarcerated without a place to go afterwards or “couch surfing”.
