The Gathering Place provides an essential service for our neighbours in need.

I recently stopped by to thank the incredible volunteers, and I was struck by something I didn’t expect — I recognized several people using the services. Friends. Neighbours. People you might pass on the street without ever knowing their story.

But what stayed with me most was seeing a child sitting down to enjoy a hot meal.

In a perfect world, a place like The Gathering Place wouldn’t be necessary. But we don’t live in a perfect world — we live in a real one. And in this world, compassion matters.

By coming together and raising funds, we can help ensure The Gathering Place continues to offer warmth, dignity, and a nourishing meal to those who need it most in our community.
