The battery on my car died on one of the coldest days of the year. I was stranded on a downtown street and waited for an hour for a towtruck to arrive and give me a boost. As my car got colder and colder I began to understand how difficult it must be for people who have no place to go - especially in the winter. Ironically, my car broke down right in front of S.H.I.F.T. The place where people can get a hot meal, spend the night, and access services and support. It is a place where people find hope. So, I am walking this year to raise funds for this important resource in our community. Will you help support their work?
