What a long winter it's been! Enough is enough. Hopefully the worst of it is behind us. But as much as we're tired of it, imagine those who don't have a permanent roof over their heads. On February 28, John and I will be walking (5km) in the Coldest Night of the Year, a nation-wide fundraising initiative in support of local charities serving people experiencing hunger and/or homelessness. In Cambridge, donations are in support of Urban Hope, a program of Cambridge Vineyard Christian Fellowship which provides free resources including food, clothing, showers, laundry facilities, life skills, mentoring and friendship.
