This is our 3rd annual Coldest Night of the Year event in Ottawa Illinois, raising funds for our local PADS (Public Action to Deliver Shelter) facility.  As a new building is being constructed on the site of the former shelter, PADS is operating out of the former YMCA building, half a block from my home and in clear view from my windows.  These are literally my neighbors.  The children play in the church lot between PADS and my back yard, and I get to watch from the kitchen.  I know the needs are real where you live, but would appreciate any donation you can give for these kids, my neighbors, this community walk on February 28.  Thank you!
