It’s cold out there. And this February, I’m doing something about it.
For the past three years, I’ve had the privilege of serving as the local Event Director for Coldest Night of the Year here in the St. Croix Valley. I’ve seen firsthand how this event keeps shelter beds open, puts food in bellies, and strengthens the safety net for families right here at home.
Life has humbled me in unexpected ways. It’s reminded me that most of us are closer to needing help than we are to becoming millionaires. One job loss. One diagnosis. One curveball. It could be any of us.
I’m sharing a photo of my wife and our three girls from last year’s walk because they’re why this matters to me. I’m grateful my kids have a warm home and food on the table. Not every family in Western Wisconsin has that same security.
If you feel led to give, I’m grateful for any amount. Even small gifts add up when a community moves together.
Thank you for visiting my page — and for caring.
