 Thank you to all who participated in our third annual Om for Kids Yogathon on Saturday, September 23rd, 2006!
Together, we were able to raise nearly $15,000, which will directly go to the services Covenant House California offers, including nightly street outreach, meals, shelter, vocational training, GED classes, and more!
We also want to thank Kristie Dahlia Home for leading us through another year of 108 Sun Salutations. Though Kristie didn't know she'd be doing it alone until just that morning, she presented the 108 in such an inspiring way that it uplifted even those newest to yoga.
Kristie also helped recruit a bevy of wonderful yoga teachers and massage therapists, including Eric Rubin of Northpoint Chiropractic and Kate Truka of Bernal Yoga. As one participant said, "I wouldn't have made it without them!"
We'd also like to thank the various yoga schools in attendance, including Greenpath Yoga, Integral Yoga, It's Yoga, Yoga Loka, and International Orange.
Yelp.com had our largest team and raised over 3,500!

And even if you weren't there, but the dedication of these individuals inspires you, it's not too late to make a financial contribution. Everyone can play a part in saving a young life from the street, whether through check, credit card, or downward dog!
