Participating in the Walk is a wonderful way of supporting the thousands of families dealing with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias in North Carolina - and letting them know they are not alone. Hi, Amanda, you helped the Alzheimer's Walk and Education Fair raise over $30,000!!! Funds from this event will be contributing at least $10,000 to ECU's Wooten Laboratory to research Alzheimer's desease. I hope you heard Dr. Qun Lu speak at the Walk about the lastest research against dementia. Also, one of our sponsors gave $5,000 for caregivers' respite. Thank you so much for your team's contribution in the fight against Alzheimer's disease. With Gratitude!

So glad you are joining us again this year! Just so you are not surprised, AlzNC has changed its name to Dementia Alliance of NC to attack all dementias, including Alzheimer's and to distinguish this organization from the national organization Alzheimer's Association.
