Our Message

As a group of Pediatric Registered Nurses, we work together every day to help our patients with Cystic Fibrosis fight. We are passionate about finding a cure, or at the very least fundraising money to support our kiddos with life-saving medications!

We have seen patients graduate. We have been to funerals. We have seen successful transplants. We know many on the transplant list. We are here, for each and every one of them and their families.

By participating in LSN, we’re helping the thousands of Canadians who live with cystic fibrosis by raising awareness and funds for Cystic Fibrosis Canada Cystic. In case you didn’t know, cystic fibrosis is the most common fatal genetic (or inherited) disease affecting Canadian children and young adults. CF affects the lungs and the digestive system. There is no cure.

100% of the money raised for Lawn Summer Nights goes directly to initiatives at CF Canada to fund research, advocacy, and provide supplementary support for CF treatment programs at Canadian CF clinics and transplant centres across the country.

We have set a group fundraising goal, and every dollar donated brings us closer to reaching that goal, and – ultimately – it brings us all closer to finding a cure for cystic fibrosis.
