n the past 10 years Trinity Snow Strollers have walked on the “Coldest Night of the Year” to support Home Horizon, a charity in Collingwood which operates the Barbara Weider House.

This is a transitional home for youth facing homelessness where the staff work tirelessly to give disadvantaged youth ,in our community, a “hand up”.

The need is great as recent stats on homelessness show that 25% of this population is youth.

With funds raised by campaigns such as these , the House has expanded to 10 bedrooms and an Outreach space with 2 staff. However, we still house 10 youth and have 20 on the Waiting List.
