It's cold out there... 

And people are sleeping in our streets or shivering in houses without proper heat. This is not a "down-in-the-city" issue - it is happening right here in Centre Wellington far more than some of us realize. 

The Community Resource Centre of North and Centre Wellington (CRC) is one of the primary teams actively addressing these issues on a day-to-day basis here in our community. They provide financial support to help keep heat turned on and re-housing support for people who don't yet have a place to call home. 

The Outreach team at the CRC operates through fundraising efforts like this. By donating to this team (or joining as a walker/fundraiser!) you are putting resources directly where the action is happening: in the streets and homes of Wellington County, where people like you and me need a little help staying warm this Winter.
