The Coldest Night of the Year , February 24, is a moment when we step outside the warmth and comfort of home and shine a light of welcome and inclusion.
Together, we're collecting donations that fund critical services at the Hudson Area Backpack & Food Program, who serves and supports vulnerable families and individuals in Hudson.
We walk through the cold and dark on February 24, 2024 to declare our concern for our nieghbors who are struggling.
We walk for those who, despite working full time, find it difficult to afford to house and feed their families.
We walk for those driven from home by violence and abuse. And we walk for people overwhelmed by mental illness, physical challnenges, isolation, guilt, and despair.
We walk humbly, realizing that anyone can lose their footing and then lose everything else.
Each step we take brings someone closer to safety, health and home, as together, we raise funds for the Hudson Area Backpack & Food Program, whose commitment and work transforms peoples’ lives.
On February 24, in downtown Hudson, we will walk to raise awareness and funds for our communtiy. Will you consider helping the Hudson Backpack Team? There are many ways to particpate:
1. Finds some freinds and walk downtown Hudson on 2/24.
2. Walk at whatever location you are in if you are a snowbird.
3. Walk to raise awareness.
4. Walk to raise awareness and fundraise.
