Dear Fam, 

It's cold out there. And on Saturday, February 24, 2024 various members of the Vancouver/Fraser Valley groups will be joining thousands of people across British Columbia to raise much-needed funds for various charities in their communities.

In Burnaby, we have The Society to End Homelessness that supports and serves people who are living in the streets, couch surfing or at risk of becoming unhoused within the City of Burnaby. 

In BC, there are various Christian outreach teams who are registered as a Canadian charity, that go out weekly to feed the hungry, pray and give hope to those who feel lost, and refer them to local treatment and detox centres if they wish to go there. 

As Christians, we walk united in Christ to share the message in 1 Corinthians 13:13, NIV says, "And now these three remain: faith, hope and love, But the greatest of these is love." And, Matthew 25:35-36, NIV says, "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’" And, Luke 4:18, NIV says, "“The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind,
to set the oppressed free,"
