Our Message

The RVH Family Medicine Teaching Unit (FMTU) has been supporting our local youth shelter, YOUTH HAVEN, by participating in the annual Coldest Night of the Year fundraising walk for several years.  Youth Haven is the only facility for homeless young people in the area and provides shelter and program support to help them have a better future.   The FMTU's weekly clinic at the shelter has opened our eyes to the difficulties faced by these youth, and we are determined to help the shelter get more resources.

You can help by joining our team for the walk, or by donating to our team. or both!  The walk is on February 24, 2024, in downtown Barrie!

Thanks for helping our homeless youth in Simcoe County!!
