We are doing amazingly well, folks!  I know some of you haven't even been able to get started yet.  Imagine where we will be then!  I've raised our team goal to $5,000.00, which I know is 1/4 of what the event goal is.  However, by the Blue Sea Foundations metrics we stand to bring in close to double the $20,000.00 event goal!  Way to go!

We’re now a month out from The Grand Parade’s official walk day, which means it’s time for another check in! How’s it going?!

Here are Blue Sea's top tips for continued success:

Try to recruit 7 or 8 people to your team (it’s not too late!) - we could use 2 more walkers

Set a goal for the team and for each team member. If your team’s goal is $2,500, everyone needs to raise $313. That makes it seem super easy!  - the remaining $1,800 means just $300 each between the 6 of us or less if we get more walkers!

If any of your team members have trouble getting started, ask them to:

Make a self-donation of $20, $50 or more

Ask their friends and family members to match it

Finally, be sure to celebrate your success! - Please start thinking about whether or not you will dress up for this, and what that might look like.  Also, I will host a bit of a party at my place after the event.
