CERC Migration’s motto is connecting Canada and the world to address challenges in global migration, while Bridging Divides seeks to support migrant integration into the mid-21st century.
With their work with vulnerable migrants and youth, we can imagine few places that do these things better than the FCJ Refugee Centre (https://www.fcjrefugeecentre.org/ ) here in our home base of Toronto. so for the third time on October 5, 2024 we're fundraising by walking and riding in the Ride for Refuge in solidarity with migrants, immigrants and refugees in our community!
Last year we raised nearly $10,000, and we hope you will consider joining and supporting our team so we make another meaningful contribution this year!
We are also participating to support the legacy of Francisco Rico-Martinez and the centre he co-founded more than 30 years ago. Multiple colleagues of ours had the privilege to collaborate with Francisco and have seen up front the incredible impact this centre has had on our community and across the country through its leadership and vision.
If you’d like to join our team, or donate to our team or one of our members in particular that invited you here - please do so by following the instructions/clicking on the appropriate name (you hover over) at: https://ride.w-ith.me/CERCBD4FCJ
