In December of 2022, we sponsored two families from the Ivory Coast and joyfully reunited mother and daughter who were separated for 20 years. In that process, another family member was left behind in Ivory Coast due to a lack of proper documentation process. Tenesi was only 19 at the time, and this young single mother worked hard in the next year and half to support herself and her son Divine, while our team in Canada worked hard to fix the mistake that tore this family apart. 

In July of 2024, we received news that Tenesi and Divine will be arriving in Canada in September! We're overjoyed that this entire family will finally be reunited for the first time ever, and need lots of help to ensure that they can build a better life in Canada. 

Join us this Oct. 5 as we walk and ride to raise funds for this resilient family. The money will go towards housing, groceries, and schooling for Tenesi so she can be self sufficient and confident in her new life.
