Salli Kamula, my mother, is a founding member of OFRA (Ontario Finnish Resthome Association). She has been living at the resthome community since her 60's. My mother was first living in the independent wing known as "Suomi Eesti Maja". She had a one bedroom apartment on the ground floor with a nice backyard. As age made living independently difficult she moved to  assisted living in the "Kotitalo" wing of the community. Salli is now 95 years young and has now been 2 years in the 24 hour full care wing "MKK". I am very grateful to have had this resthome community available for an aging parent. My team walks for all the residents of OFRA.
