Our Message

It's cold out there. And this February, our team is going to do something about it. Together with thousands of Canadians across the country, our Durham Youth Services Board members team is walking and fundraising to support and serve people and families experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness in our community. Durham Youth Services mission is to end youth homelessness in Durham Region through the many programs and services our passionate staff deliver. What a day for DYS and the school program. I think there is a clear indication of the heart of the board when people show up to support and offer support outside of busy jobs. Every new event is a risk, thank you for making it possible for us to take this opportunity. We are well over 90% of our goal. Your team was very generous (some went to Bo’s best). With the idea of being excellent, I will send a follow up survey. Please give some thought on what worked and what can be improved. Thank you
